SWAPP’s founders previously built and sold a company to Autodesk — the largest software vendor in architecture and engineering — and spent years inside Autodesk shaping how the industry’s core tools get built. They started SWAPP in 2019 with the people, the relationships, and the hard-won understanding of AEC to build it right.

SWAPP is nearly 40 people — AI researchers, machine-learning engineers, and practicing senior architects working side by side, every day. That pairing is what makes the product work: the research depth to build proprietary AI that operates directly on the BIM model and tunes to each firm, and the architectural judgment to know what “correct” actually means on a real construction set.
